Hemp: A “Healthy” Ingredient for Cosmetics

I do not like to use the word healthy, but it sums up the analogy of natural over synthetic nicely.

There have been cosmetics that break down in a certain way under UV light that create free radicals that cause gene mutations, DNA damage, and other misc. skin ailments. Aluminum is the active ingredient in anti perspirants from what I’m seeing online? How standards allow this is beyond me, but I’m still learning. Aluminum toxicity is known to cause a variety of conditions, and there’s no reason for it whenever these products can be designed to perform in a beneficial way to our bodies.

Hemp oil has high levels of vitamins, omegas, is rich in amino acids, and is an antioxidant, making it a rising player not only in the health, but in the skin care and beauty markets. As WV farmers begin growing more acres on hemp in the coming years, increasing domestic supply, economic opportunity will open doors to new markets for the local health and beauty industries in our state.

We’d love to talk to you about what your plans with hemp are, and how we can help. Email wvhfc.inc@gmail.com to reach out at your convenience. Thank you!
