Hemp is for Horses

As you may know, the inner core of hemp is extremely low density high absorbancy, and one of its touted uses is as an animal bedding material. In regards to bedding for horses, the queen of England uses hemp bedding in her stables. For her royal horses, only the best!

Some of the hemp grown in Kentucky, as part of the new federally mandated USDA Pilot Prgrams,  which was harvested this past September, will be used as animal bedding, for horses.

According to an article on horse talk.co.nz , “Researchers intend to assess the crop for a variety of uses, including as stable bedding for horses. Some of the crop will be used tested for use in textiles and biofuels.”
